The next House of African Art (HAART) show in London will be at Hoxton Arches, 402 Cremer Street, London, E2 8HD.
Titled The Playground, the exhibition will explore the significance of childhood. For instance, we will look into the importance of the formative years of each person's life (i.e. their childhood) in shaping the opportunities they'll have in life, their belief system (such as their religion), their values and who they eventually become as adults.
HAART's Playground exhibition will showcase new bodies of artwork by three visual artists - Àsìkò, Azael Langa and Zoya Taylor - alongside a line up of evening talks, live performance art pieces and live musicians performing in the gallery.
Entrance to the art gallery during the daytimes and to the opening event on Thursday 30 September 2021 is free and all are welcome. Entrance to the private events from 7-10pm on Saturday 2 October 2021 and Tuesday 5 October 2021 requires a ticket. Tickets are currently available through the Eventbrite listing below:
