The last HAART show in London was held between Thursday 2 - Tuesday 7 March 2023 at Hoxton Arches, London E2 8HD. Titled The Playground, the exhibition was an exploration into the significance of childhood, showcasing new bodies of artwork by five visual artists - Azael Langa, Lerato Motaung, Lindokuhle Khumalo, Olamide Ogunade and Qhamanande Maswana - alongside a line up of evening talks, live performances and music in the gallery.

One highlight from the exhibition programme included a panel discussion with Goldsmiths University academics, Teemu Toivainen and Peter Smith, whose research focuses on the link between creative expressiveness in childhood writing and academic achievement, as well as the significance of play in childhood development.
